Today's Thought

"Neither Satan nor any other power can weaken or destroy your growing character. Only you could do that through disobedience. That is why Satan is so intently focused on tempting you to make decisions that will undermine your character. Satan is an accomplished master at making devastating choices appear attractive, even reasonable. So be careful. At this critical time of life you will be faced with many choices. The decisions you will make will profoundly affect life now and for eternity. Make them wisely and prayerfully."

Good Reads

If you know me, you know I love to read. Mostly just LDS fiction.
They are clean, safe and no potty stuff.
I have to escape to somewhere and this is my happy place.

Last weekend I picked up a book from the library and was able to finish it over the weekend.
We are so fortunate that we have many LDS fictions in our library.
(However, that still doesn't prevent me from hitting the clearance table at Seagull Book
or
scope out the books at the D.I.)

I didn't like book reports in school and things haven't changed much either so I won't give a book report now however...

This book kept my interest and it was a quick read.

THIS  next book was awesome!
When I went back to the library on Monday to take Waiting for You back I checked out two more books. THEN as I was walking out I noticed some books along "the wall" and saw this one.

When I walked back to check it out too, the librarian said it was really good.
She wasn't mistaken.

This book goes back today because I'm done!
I think Doran will be pleased because I can
do the dishes,
the laundry,
and maybe get some sleep.

Oh wait...I still have those two books at home I need to read.
Shucky darn! I guess chores are still on hold.

I'm with you on fiction selection. I, too, am fortunate that our library has LDS books. There's something about the feel and smell of books. Oh yeah, reading them is good too.
