Today's Thought
"Neither Satan nor any other power can weaken or destroy your growing character. Only you could do that through disobedience. That is why Satan is so intently focused on tempting you to make decisions that will undermine your character. Satan is an accomplished master at making devastating choices appear attractive, even reasonable. So be careful. At this critical time of life you will be faced with many choices. The decisions you will make will profoundly affect life now and for eternity. Make them wisely and prayerfully."

Oh, I see!!!
No one has been here to update this blog. I guess I will have to do it myself. It's hard to find cheap help.
I can't bring you up to date on EVERYTHING that we have been doing but I can tell you a smidged of what happened a couple of weeks ago.
Doran and I both got to go to Aaronic Priesthood Camp. Doran because he is in the YM Stake Presidency. Me because I got to be Camp Mom. It was FANtaBUlous!!! I LOVE to camp and to camp with all these priesthood holders was AWESOME!!! The spirit soared!
Since I learned about the priesthood (when we got married), I have been totally, 100% in awe that our Heavenly Father loves us so much to bless us with such an amazing blessing. My testimony of the power in the priesthood is profound! There is POWER and there is LOVE when used faithfully. I am so thankful that Doran is such an example of the priesthood and such a wonderful disciple of Christ.
Without further ado......I have created a blog for those that attended the camp. Don't know how many will know about it or go look but I love the pictures.
Part of the story goes....
A few months before camp Doran was given the assignment to build a "stone box". This was to be buried and then for one of the activities everyone would be writing their testimonies on some plates of brass (it was actually copper). Then the plates would be buried in the stone box. He did a wonderful job on the box. You will see it in the pictures.
I am also building a DVD with music to the pictures. It is so nice. I put music on the blog but then commercials came on. One was about "Captain Jack" rum.....uh I don't think so. Thus there is no music but oh you should hear what I came up with!!
You can visit the site HERE. I hope you can get a glimpse of the fun and spirit that we all felt. I. WANT. TO. GO. BACK!!!!

Making History
STS-135 countdown under way
Space shuttle Atlantis is set to liftoff on the final flight of the shuttle program, STS-135, a 12-day mission to the International Space Station. Launch is currently targeted for July 8 at 11:26 a.m. EDT. NASA Test Director Jeremy Graeber reported space shuttle Atlantis is ready for flight, and STS-135 payload manager Joe Delai said the payloads are ready to go as well. The only issue standing in the way of liftoff Friday is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms developing along the sea-breeze front reported Kathy Winters, shuttle weather officer. For more information, please see NASA's space shuttle website or read the Countdown.
STS-135 launch salute
History will be made next week with the very last launch of the Space Shuttle. Wherever you may be, invite your friends to be a part of history by joining this last salute.
In honor of the hundreds of thousands of men and women who have devoted their time, careers and passion over the last 40 years to the success of the Space Shuttle Program, and in remembrance of the crew of Challenger and Columbia who paid the ultimate price, we ask you to stand, join and raise hands as you watch Atlantis ascend into the heavens during the final space shuttle launch.
• At ten seconds to liftoff, stand up
• At liftoff, join and raise hands
• For first ten seconds of flight, keep hands raised
With this gesture, we will convey the thanks of a grateful nation and world for the legacy of space exploration that has been set for the future.
