Without To Much Information (your gonna read it anyway).....I absolutely HATE!!!, yes I used the "H" word kids, going to the women's annual humiliation appointment. Well for several years I have hid. But after many tears and worry and humiliation I can officially tell you that I am pronounced healthy from head to toe....well ankle anyway.
I can also tell you that yes, I can now wear a smaller size bra because of the OTHER appointment that us wonderful women get to experience.
My dad had colon cancer and my brother also so therefore, I have to go get screening more often than a person oughta wanna. Got this done too after hiding from this also.
What did Doran do? Well....he made me lunch.
We have both been beezy at work.
The Resolutionary Challenge official began this week. Can I tell you HARD! It is taking all I have to get 7 fruits/veggies in AND 60 minutes of exercise. Some of the other challenges are trying me but I am making it.
Tuesday night we ended up going to a work dinner which is always nice because I don't have to cook OR do dishes. Unfortunately we did miss a meeting workshop that our friend Holly and Thurl Bailey spoke at. So sad to miss meeting Thurl.
The rest of the week fly by and on Friday night we got to have "Date Night" with our Scooter Banooter. We played toys (she dumped the whole basket out). Grandpa put a wig and cowboy hat on and taught Scooter to say "Howdy partAner." They were both holding some 3D glasses on too. Where's the picture? Uh...
Then when it was bed time we read stories (I could only find two little books, I guess I shouldn't have given them ALL away), then we put The Little Mermaid in and snuggled.
By the time we decided where to run on Saturday it was already 9:00 so.....I called mom and asked if they wanted to meet us up to Bert's for breakfast. I told her we were running up there and then we would run home on a full stomach. So we took 30 minutes to get there by adding some blocks on. Then on the way home we caught up to mom and Camri. Stan had dropped them off in our path so we walked mom home and then ran home. We came home and I got busy on my lesson and talk that I needed to give on Sunday night for a Baptism Fireside. THEN....mom said they were going to the show. Yep, we went with. We had to stop at the store on the way home and by time we got home mom and I decided that we didn't want to make dinner so we went to Peach City. I had to cram that ice cream in before the 9:00 deadline for the challenge.
What a great week....well SOME of it was not so pleasant.

Today's Thought
"Neither Satan nor any other power can weaken or destroy your growing character. Only you could do that through disobedience. That is why Satan is so intently focused on tempting you to make decisions that will undermine your character. Satan is an accomplished master at making devastating choices appear attractive, even reasonable. So be careful. At this critical time of life you will be faced with many choices. The decisions you will make will profoundly affect life now and for eternity. Make them wisely and prayerfully."

Having breakfast out?
Awesome.
It weren't too bad. We shared an omlet. My mom did tell me that you are not posta run after you eat because you get glutten in your heart and gut.....Well we were glutten for punishment most the way home...sigh
I can't believe you the H word. I'm so disapointed. LOL (Ben)
way to go! keep up the good work
What a very productive week in Lengthening Your Stride! Ewww, Colon Cancer is nasty stuff, so I'm glad you are taking the necessary precautions and preventative measures. For my hubby's birthday this week, he had a prostate exam! Oh joy! But I'm happy to say he's still cancer free. Glad to hear you received a clean bill of health!
