Treats, treats, glorious treats!
Tuesday, we met the McQuivey's for lunch to have a Wet Burrito. They were huge burritos, so Elder Shelley and I shared one. We even had leftovers for another day.
Then, we went to the church from 1-4pm for "Getting to know you" games. There was also, cornhole and 9 square game set up. My thoughts were "finally, we get to play the kids' games".
This is Sister McQuivey. Elder McQuivey is actually related to the McQuivey's that lived across the street from my parents house. Either cousins to Richard or his son, Steve.
At 2pm, we skipped out for a bit to go have our interview with the Branch Presidency, over HVC. It was a quick interview and I tried not to specify where my hopes of serving would be. We had a nice, short visit, then we headed back to the games.
That night they had a "fire bowl", where you just meet and greet around a (propane) camp fire.
It. Was. COLD!
